Asher's end of the year performance was in true Basilian fasion. It wasn't just the santa hats and shorts it was that the performance didn't actually start until 7pm when we were asked to be there at 6pm. The sound system didn't work properly, the students could not be heard, transitions between classes did not go smoothly and required intermission songs such as the unedited version of Love The Way You Lie by Eminem and Rihanna. Asher of course didn't notice the chaos and was proud as punch to be performing. This was the first year Asher had come home and practiced his songs. We all sang We Wish You A Merry Christmas, Jingle Bells, and Santa Clause is Coming to Town on a daily basis which helped us get into the holiday spirit in the hot weather. We left the performance early with our two little ones who needed to go to bed. From what I understand the last class performed at about 9:30pm and everyone went home about 10pm.
